Dr. Geoff Cox is a researcher at the University of Aarhus (DK), an occasional artist, writer, and Associate Curator of Online Projects at Arnolfini, Bristol (UK). He is also an adjunct professor at Transart Institute (Donau University, Austria) and Associate Professor/Reader at University of Plymouth (UK). He has a research interest in software (art) studies expressed in various projects such as the co-curated touring exhibition Generator (2002/03), his PhD thesis Antithesis: The Dialectics of Software Art (2006), the co-curated public art project Social Hacking (2007) and the current book project Speaking Code (2012).
